HELLO THERE!

As you have probably observed by my recent deviations, I have turned my hand to sketching.

I have watched my Dad - JedEye ([link]) and my Sister - angelbearlina ([link]) creating things using their hands, between sketching and painting. As time has progressed, I have felt a stronger urge to try drawing myself. With a bit of encouragement one evening from my Dad, I put pencil to paper and created 'First go', a sketch of my left hand. Encouraged by my family, I have continued to try out diferent drawings.

Whilst I am busy practicing, I am also following a book called Drawing on the right side of the brain, by Betty Edwards. I'm finding it along with Drawing for Dummies really useful and easy to follow.

Finally, my Brother-in-law, Ross - Rossdrakeford86 - [link] is really class at etching. A practice that must take piles of patience. This is one shot of five of a piece that Ross completed. It is a beautiful piece and each shot should be viewed to get a full appreciation of his work.
